Integrated Directional Signing Program

Announcement

We are excited to announce that Directional Signing Program, LLC (DSP) was chosen to be the new administrator of the Integrated Directional Signing Program (IDSP) for the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) starting on July 1, 2020.

Interstate 95 in Richmond

A One-Stop Signing Program

VDOT developed the IDSP to serve as an umbrella for four major signing programs and several special signing programs designed to guide motorists to various essential services, businesses, attractions, tourist destinations and other points of interest.  It will be run as a turnkey operation by DSP.

This will provide interested establishments a single point of contact to apply for signs along state-maintained highways.

DSP is in process of developing a state-of-the-art upgrade for the IDSP.

By employing the latest technology for inventory management, customer service and mapping, DSP will ensure effective management of the IDSP across the state, while also meeting the needs of the traveling public.

The Virginia Statewide Directional Signing Advisory Committee helped VDOT develop this “one-stop” program. The committee members represent the many businesses and organizations interested in the directional signs.
