VDOT News - Northern Virginia

VIENNA – Vale Road (Route 672) between Oak Valley Drive (Route 3861) and Flint Hill Road (Route 2435) will be closed to through traffic, weather permitting, Monday, July 10 through Thursday, July 13 between 9 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. each day for stormwater pipe replacement, according to the Virginia Department of Transportation.

Those needing to reach properties along Vale Road will have access; however, traffic will not be able to go beyond the point of pipe replacement (near 9934 Vale Road, located just east of Tanglevale Drive) in either direction.

Through traffic will be detoured via Oak Valley Drive, Route 123 (Chain Bridge Road) and Flint Hill Road back to Vale Road. Drivers are asked to follow posted detour signs.
